Instagram Mod is a modified version of the Instagram application, a social network. Instagram excels in its core features: posting photos and sharing moods via accompanying videos. Simply click to upload a photo or a short video with a few heartfelt words, and you can share wonderful content with your followers.

Instagram also boasts a major feature called “Story”. While Facebook has it too, Instagram’s Story remains the most senior, quick, and community-interactive feature. These stories can only be viewed once and then disappear, leaving almost no trace. Many people choose Story for short-term memories: post quickly and vanish within 24 hours. This feature helps preserve all the wonderful moments in your daily life.

When you tap the + button at the top right corner of the Instagram app screen, a small window will pop up, asking what you want to post on Insta: Post/Reel/Story/Story Highlight, or Live. Depending on your needs and timing, you can choose the most suitable sharing method for yourself.

Each function among Photos/Videos/Stories/Reels has its own set of editing tools, which we will discuss in more detail in subsequent sections.

Freely Interact with the Community

Whether it’s a mutual follower or just a one-way follow, or even with no friend list, you can view their public photos, send hearts, drop likes, and leave comments. The ease and freedom to interact are major criteria the developers aimed for when creating this social network app, Instagram. And the ability to freely interact with the Instagram community has proven this.

Follow Friends and Idols

Like other social networks, when you join Instagram, you can quickly post a photo or a short video with a caption expressing your thoughts and feelings at that moment. Friends and followers on Instagram will have the opportunity to read, find empathy, or some other emotional connection. From there, they can interact with you by commenting or sending private messages.

Connections on Instagram seem much simpler and more intimate. The barrier between celebrities and ordinary people almost doesn’t exist. You can follow anyone you like immediately. Then, you can see all their updates in the Home section of the toolbar at the bottom of the app.

Intuitive Management Tools

When it comes to social interaction, you will see your position in everyone’s hearts. The best way to track popularity is through the number of followers, likes, comments, and hearts on a photo, video, or Story.

With a simple toolbar at the bottom of the screen, everything will grab your attention:

• Home – Here you can view all the posts/videos of the people you follow. This is also where we often browse the most and why we spend so much time on social networks. On the home page, you have all the information and images of idols, friends, and relatives you followed before.
• Search – Freely search for anything you need like phone numbers, emails, personal accounts, or any post, video, hashtag you are interested in. All results are returned instantly. With other social networks, the search function is limited. On Instagram, you can find everything instantly and accurately by typing.
• Reels – Reels is a feature that helps users create short videos similar to TikTok. Through this new short video creation service, users can quickly create Instagram Stories (and of course Facebook Stories).
• Heart Icon – The place to track all interactions inside and outside your Instagram page: who just followed you, who liked your photo, who just commented on your video… Instagram also suggests people you might know (through other friends on Instagram or through Facebook friends).
• Profile – The page summarizes all your images. Here you can view your entire Instagram usage history.

Direct Photo and Video Editing

Instagram also has a robust set of tools that allow users to easily edit their photos and videos quickly. These tools include Filters, Effects, shading, sharpening images, color adjustment, highlighting… all very easy to use. You just need to upload the photo up-to-post, then press edit photo. The full screen of the above tools will appear. Now, feel free to choose the effects and adjust as desired.

To be fair, this series of quick image and clip editing features is quite powerful but lacks diversity and is not frequently updated. I’ve been on Instagram since 2011, and after 2-3 years, I stopped using it entirely. The reason was simply the lack of many photo editing tools. Not to mention these apps often have a “slightly excessive” style. That’s why very few people use this feature and still have dedicated photo and video editing apps on their devices.

Quick Live Streaming

Instead of uploading videos from your device, you can now live stream directly on Instagram. These brief live streams will immediately reach your friends and followers. After the live stream ends, you can delete or post the video on your Instagram homepage for others to rewatch.

Both From Meta, What Makes Instagram Different From Facebook?

In 2010, Instagram was already one of the fastest-growing social networks in the world. In 2012, Facebook (now renamed Meta) acquired Instagram and spurred the growth of both Instagram and Facebook.

Evidence is that just one year after merging with Facebook, Instagram reached 150 million monthly users.

Although both are owned by Meta, Instagram and Facebook’s user approach is quite different:

• Facebook primarily shares emotions through text (also known as statuses), with images and videos secondary.
• Instagram prioritizes creativity and immediacy, with text being limited in both display and word count in a post. The value of Instagram lies in sharing images and videos, with text now being secondary.
• Instagram offers a concise, quick social networking experience with very few ads and spam. There’s no need for cumbersome groups or endless flame wars like on Facebook.

Is Using Instagram Easy?

Mastering Facebook is often quite complicated. But Instagram isn’t that difficult. Most of the main operations are just selecting the + button, rotating, uploading photos, and editing directly on Instagram. Know all of them, and you’re done.
